Remembering Bolton's lost little angels

our local team supported a memorial event

When a client comes into our care, they’re not just our concern at the time of arranging a funeral. It goes much deeper than that.

A huge comfort to people is the aftercare that we offer, which can be a significant help during the grieving and healing process of losing a loved one.

And we’re pleased that other valuable professionals in the community are on the same page as us, meaning we can join together to create something very special.

A recent example of this is from Royal Bolton Hospital, who organised their annual Children’s Remembrance Service …and we had the honour of being able to support.

The day is an opportunity for parents, family and friends to remember little angels that were taken too soon, coming together to help find some peace and comfort from one another.

Our team in Bolton were shining stars; providing orders of service, candles for parents to light in memory of their child, and refreshments.

There was also a memory tree for families to hang butterflies on (in many religions butterflies are a symbol of new life in God), and our team were of course on hand to help with this too.

The service was beautifully moving and we’re so pleased to have been able to play a part in the day.

A big well done to our Bolton funeral home and Royal Bolton Hospital for a fantastic joint effort.
