J&W Goudie supporting the community at Christmas
A helping hand in Paisley
There’s so many great things going on in our communities to support those less fortunate at Christmas time, and the team at J&W Goudie Funeral Directors in Paisley have been working hard to do what they can to help.
With the help of local florist, Liz McKellar at Daisy’s, they’ve been able to provide beautiful floral displays to the Malatso Café who are opening their doors on Christmas Day to provide a free dinner for anyone who is on their own or can’t afford a Christmas dinner. They’re joined by many other businesses in Paisley who have really embraced the idea and come together to support the Malatso Café.
They’ve also been supporting local charity “A Helping Hand” that runs a weekly soup kitchen and will be hosting a Boxing Day lunch for underprivileged families and anyone in need . Laura, Robert, Lynn and Karen kindly offered to become a drop off point for the charity and have been receiving donations of gifts, food, clothing and toiletries which they will deliver to the organisers soon.
A fantastic way to support the community – well done all.
